About

Our Team

We come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We have worked across 12 countries (from Australasia to Europe, North America, and the Middle East).

Professional Experience

We have expertise in mental health, criminal justice, conflict resolution, community development, youth work, policy, programme reviews and design, strategy work, organisational development, culture change/systems building, education, and information technology.

Communities We Serve

Youth, migrants and former refugees, government organisations, NGOs and philanthropic organisations.

Our Purpose

Highly skilled professionals from ethnic backgrounds bring immense expertise and lived experience, yet their contributions are often under-recognised in traditional systems. This results in missed opportunities for diversity and representation at higher levels of specialisation. At Nas, we are committed to changing this. We create collaborative spaces where professionals of colour can thrive, share knowledge, and lead transformative change for our communities in Aotearoa.

Why Work With Us?

Because our primary goal is always to improve the lives of our people - systematically marginalised communities, with a particular emphasis on ethnic communities, Māori, and Pacific peoples in Aotearoa.

Our Funders

Clare is a progressive philanthropic foundation that wants more for our people and planet.

Other Funders

Through collaborative work with other NGOs and partners our funding has come from the Ministry of Ethnic Communities -Ethnic Communities Development Fund (ECDF), Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) - Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Fund (PCVE), and The Ministry for Social Development - Ethnic Communities Violence Prevention Fund.
